JoAnn,

I know what you mean about not recognizing oneself in the mirror. And pictures

too.

Libido ha ha I will have to say there has been a definite impact there.

Just happy to be a live and able to play with my Grandchildren.

I Truly believe life is good without mirrors LOL.

Very good point about the body changes doing a " dance on us emotionally " with

the resulting impact on libido. I have to agree. I don't look like myself.

Still not used to it after nearly 3 years.

Of course, I know we're all blessed to have Gleevec/Sprycel/ Tasigna etc., but I

would like to recognize the woman in the mirror each morning!! :-)

Hi:  We definitely do start to look different.  At first I thought it was just

me.  My skin texture has dryed so bad.  My hair did not fall out, but got real

curly.  I have been trying to get the right hairdo.  I finally went back to my

short haircut, and I use a straightening shampoo with another product before I

blow dry it.  Then I have to sit with ice packs on my eyes to get the puffiness

out before I can do my make-up.

Then the weight gain.  Thats another whole subject.  Sometimes I cannot

even be bothered.  I throw the sunglasses on and run out to do my errands.  I

just do not feel like the same person.  ITs good to share all this, so you know

your not the only one.
