Hello,

I forgot to ask this also...

The research I have found says that Sprycel is slow release.

I have had gastric bypass surgery and I malabsorb meds/foods etc I am not

suposed to take time release meds as they do not stay in my system long enough

for the second stage of the drug to kick in..Will this be an issue with Sprycel?

My DR is not a specialist so when I ask him questions he pulls out a little

phone or goes to the internet to look things up.I research and ask questions

here but not sure if I get the correct answers on the net so want to see what

others here experience/know. .

Francis,

They are not my Dr's.Do you think they would respond to a non patient and give

medical advice through e-mail? If so does anyone have an email addy so I can try

writing them?

I understand from other posters on the Leukemia and Lymphoma website, that they

may. Dr. Druker's RN is Carolyn and the E-Mail is drukerb@... Dr. Talpaz is

at U. of Michigan-I do not have his address, but it may be somewhere on the LLS

Yes they will help you. A few years ago I had some Questions and he got

right back to me. He was not my Doctor either.
