Hi Joan,

I did give my birthday. I think it is a very nice thing to do.

I am from Northern N.Y. A little town called Hailesboro NY . We live

in a cabin by the water. I used to do a lot of gardening. We are almost

sure I got bit by the tick in my garden. Now I am to ill to do anything.

I have not been out in about 5 weeks. It is so hard to go anywhere. I have

a couple of doctor appointments next week, so I will be forced to get

out.....

Well, I will talk with you later Joan..... Thanks for the info.

Hi ,

No, no cards need be sent, some people do like to send the e-mail type cards

to members on the list. But that is strictly voluntary, no one MUST

participate. You were off list for awhile there, and many of us feel like

family and someone had the good idea to recognize birthdays, Jean-Ann was nice

enough to keep the records and to announce them near the beginning of each

month. How about sharing your birthday so we can recognize yours?? No year

needed.

Hugs,

Marta

Hi All,

I don't mean to seem airheaded but....I saw the list for December

birthdays and I wondered if we are suppose to send cards. I do not have

addresses of these people. Or do you send cards over the net?...thanks for your

Marta,

I did send my Birthdate in but I don't know w. ho got it. Anyway, I will

give it to you again.....Sept. 4.............I guess it is a long time

away....(It doesn't hurt my feelings any either).

I go to Pa. for a check up on Thursday. I just got a positive PCR ack and

he did another test. Not sure what kind.... It showed an actual picture of my

blood cells covered with spirochetes. Have you had a test like that? I guess

it may be gairly new.

I did not cell that was clean. Unbelievable...Any way the card things sounds

like a nice thing to do and I will be happy to participate.....

Hi ,

Sorry about the repeat post about birthdays, I am getting my mail at screwy

times, mail that should go right out is coming in the next day or so, I guess it

is Onelist having problems, and not my server. I am getting replies back to my

post before I see them on Lyme-aid. Hope they fix it soon. About that test,

please find out the name of it from your doctor, many of us will be interested.

Marta,

I will ask Dr.Bach what the name of the test is. I believe it wasa culture

of my blood. I wish there was a way to show you what the cells looked like. I

can hardly believe I am breathing by the looks of them.

I had an appointment with my regular doctor today. I cried all the way

home. She is not the doctor who treats my lyme but she treats my pain. Anyway,

today she told me that she did not feel any of my tests were conclusive of

lyme. She said none of them were approved by the FDA. Believe it or not she is

infectious disease. It is very hard to to convince a doctor of LYME. I am

sure that comes as no secret to you. By the time she got done with me, it put

me in doubt! I told her that I had read that if you have a positive PCR, that

it is pretty likely that you have lyme. It was like talking to a wall. Alls it

does is put stress on me. Oh well...Just needed to get it off from my chest. I

am from a very small town way up north and there is no support group. Dr. Bach

wanted me to start one, but I am to ill as of yet. I am on Mephron, zithromax,

biaxin and Doxy. I don't feel like it is helping at all. I felt best on I.V.

treatment. But they cut me off..(the ins. co.)

There was an article on lyme in the alternative medicine magazine. A man

wrote in and said he had lyme disease for ten years. He went to a wellness

center in Reno Nevadae says that they cured him. The name of the place was

Century Wellness Center. I am trying to find out what kind of treatment they

had him on. I will check it out and let you know if I find out anything.... He

said that he owes his life to the center. Well I have chewed your ear long

enough ....Oh ya...Forgive my typing errors. Believe it or not, I do know how

to spell..... Re: [Lyme-aid] Birthdays

For the new members, we have a list of names, b-days and e-mail addresses that

get published at the end of the current month for the following month. Please

let me know yours (either on the list or privately) and I will be happy to add

you. Everyone likes to get b-day cards!

Denim ... I got yours from your earlier post. :-)

I always find it interesting to hear about birthdays on the same day! Two of my

brothers were born on the same day - eight years apart, the day before my dad's

birthday, two weeks after mine! All in November! When I told my folks that Rob

was due in Dec - they all said no way - he'll be born in Nov - but he was in too

big a hurry and showed up in October! We always invited one special friend for

dinner and birthday cake when I was growing up.

Pat,

Thanks for the laugh! That was too funny! I think most children have that

moment of realization when they realize that the world really doesn't revolve

around them. Rob hasn't come to that point - though seems a little confused

when he encounters an adult that doesn't hang on to his every word. There is a

Friendly's resturaunt that we have gone to pretty regularly since he was an

infant - so the people there have watched him grow, gotten to know him and

really make a fuss over him when we are there - now he doesn't understand when

he doesn't receive the same " little prince " treatment if we happen to eat out at

another location!(Maybe we were all celebrating your birthday!)

Hey RL - don't encourage my little ego maniac!!! :)

In the wake of the recent news (which he has had a very limited view of) he told

me that he was going to grow up and be a firefighter so " this doesn't happen

again, and if it does me and my firefighters will take lots of firetrucks & have

a big ladder that goes up six miles to stop the fire. " With tears in my eyes I

told him that being a firefighter was a very good thing to be.

It is a shame that all of God's kind, beautiful children can't grow up to be

kind, loving, giving adults. God help me keep Rob's big heart directed in this

path, whatever he decides to do with his life. [i don't know if a Princedom is

in his future lol :) ]

OK, confession time.

Had my yearly big birthday bash yesterday with friends and family attending.

Made a big whipped-cream-cheese cake, fruitflan and marble cake. You can't just

eat one!

The redeeming factor : all were made with speltflour. LOL

Not feeling too chipper today. Did take some Deflect beforehand though.

Oh well, just once a year can't hurt, right ?
