Guest guest
Emmi, Good for you. I know you enjoyed the wonderful flan and cake. Like you said, it is only once a year. I've heard that ginger pills will help also. Some people say if you take them either with or shortly after you eat something you know you shouldn't have that it will help also. Re: birthdays OK, confession time. Had my yearly big birthday bash yesterday with friends and family attending. Made a big whipped-cream-cheese cake, fruitflan and marble cake. You can't just eat one! The redeeming factor : all were made with speltflour. LOL Not feeling too chipper today. Did take some Deflect beforehand though. Oh well, just once a year can't hurt, right ? Hugs to all Gail [ ] Birthdays Is there anywhere where all the group members birthdays are listed? I would hate to miss anyone's special day. Just curious. Guest guest
My birthday is October 24th. Maybe I'll get lucky and have my surgery around that time. Even if my surgery isn't scheduled until November, it will still be nice because that would mean activation takes place somewhere around Christmas. Perfect!! I am amazed by the good attitude and survival kind of skills most of the people have here. I know I thing - my husband is in pain..pain I can not help..pain it is only helped by taking 6 pills plus some other pills...if he wants to be active, he takes his 6 pills to help him to be active till 2PM max..then he gets home and goes to bed and takes other pills to keep him out of withdrawal symptoms from he first pills.. now he drive to work every day 50 miles each way... He lost his 10 miles each day work because they hated his back problerms...f..g jerks.. can't get a lawyer..he quit.. I hate our government for spending money for sending people to the moon and not having enough money for research for such a simple thing an DDD.. I am sorry.. I am sorry....I hate the fact he can't play tennis with his kids..or go hiking without taking pills.. where is the science?????..

Guest guest
You could try my ice cream recipe which is posted on the recipes website. It's basically the frozen egg drink but is pretty tasty and rich in my opinion.
Guest guest
Hi there, Is your name ? We like to know who we are responding to. I use the lemon flan recipe on Bee's website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe317.php I make some changes with the recipe, though. I add the zest of one lemon as well as the lemon juice and use 2 Tbsp of butter + 4 Tbsp of coconut oil, melted, but not hot (instead of 6 Tbsp of coconut oil). It says to cook at 180, but that must be in Celsius. So I think it's something like 325F. I don't use any water and it really only needs 3/4 tsp. of stevia in my opinion. Hope that helps! > > Hi, Can anyone give me a recipe for a birthday dessert of some kind that follows the candida diet? Thanks! >
Guest guest
Dear Bobby, What a lovely story about your birthday. We have so many birthdays in May, June, July & August in our family that I forgot my granddaughter's birthday in June. I just found it stamped and ready to go when I was getting her son's card ready, so what the heck I sent them all at the same time. In August, my 4th son and his wife share the same month for their birthdays and also their annivesary. It just so happened her mother died last week and was cremeated on the 3rd, so I sent a sympathy card. Their anniversary was on the 4 and her birthday was on the 7th, so I sent them all at once. Last year I was in the hospital for my birthday and it would have been my 80th. They must have looked at my record, because the entire floor of nurses, the dietician and some in the office came up with a cupcake and a candle on it to wish me a happy birthday. Even the doctors came in and wished me a happy birthday. I told my son that I had planned to call a caterer and was going to throw myself an 80 party, but since I was in the hospital, the whole thing just fizzled out. After I got home, he and his wife threw me that 80 party. I still get choked up thinking about it. This year I was in the hospital 2 days after my birthday, but spent my 14th Leukaversary in the hospital. I would like to skip the month of July altogether. Guest guest
Hey! did I ever tell you about the time I spent New Year's Eve in the hospital? I think that was way back in the winter of 'o7, I was there, being misdiagnosed with pneumonia instead of pleural effusion, but that is not the point of my story. I had a roomie, another little old lady, and we were bored to death. About 11:30. in came my daughter with hubby Mickey, and they had funny hats, horns, appetizers, and champagne! So we had an exciting night after all, but the doctors sure were surprised when they came in in the morning and saw the empty bottles !!!!
