Hi everyone, I returned home last night. Hoping to recuperate and get on

with my life, hopefully better than it was. Seems Darvon was the first

culprit and as I thought I was getting better, MDACC discovered a UTI and

gave me a prescription for Bactrim which just about finished me off, causing

a massive attack of gastritis. My kidneys were not functiong too well when I

arrived at the hospital, but the doctor said it had improved when he

discharged me. The only antibiotics I was allowed was in an IV while being

hydrated and I also received 2 units of blood to revive me somewhat. So, I

should be seeing some improvement in my overall health soon. Time for a

change.

Thanks to everyone who called and sent me emails through the hospital's web

site. Your support meant a lot and I think you are just an awesome group. I

guess I am lucky after all to have found you all. The woman from the office

who kept coming up to deliver the emails said you were giving her quite a

workout, but she said it with a smile. Thanks a million.

Hands & hearts,

Lottie

Welcome home Lottie!

I'm so glad you are on the road to recovery! Those darn kidneys can sure take a

while to return to normal.  My Daughter, who was 17 at the time had to spend a

whole week in the Hospital for a kidney infection.  She didn't even know she had

a bladder infection which led to the kidney infection.  Her only clue was that

her lower back hurt. Anyway, it all turned out well, just as I hope it does for

you.

You were truly missed around here!

God Bless,

Hi Lottie: So glad your home. Home is the best place to be to recuperate.

Nothing like your own house and bed. Hope they got to the bottom of the

problem finally, so you can get back to feeling good.

As you can see you were missed so very much. Welcome Home!!!

Dear Lottie,

Praise the Lord you are home again. Enough hospitals, IV'S, Doctors, Hospital

meals and their icky jello. I am so glad you are home in your own house and own

bed. God Bless you and Jimmy.
