Congratulations to Sue Hurt and Virginia Garner for their participation in the

LLS 2009 fundraising. Virginia Garner has posted how much was raised in her

marathon, but that figure has probably gone up tenfold. I think of how many

people are saved by their efforts, so my hat is off to you, " ladies of the

night " .

Sue's involvement has been in having fundraisers in different venues, like free

food from some vendors, her Mad Hatters High Tea where everyone wears a hat and

baloons being carried by citizens coming together. The colored baloons are

meted out in gold to remember a lost loved one, white to celebrate survival and

the blue is to show support of the LLS foundtion.

I hope when the fundraising is complete, that they will let us know how much was

raised. Again, thank you fellow CMLers.
