I'm sorry that the CML drugs have not been successful for you and that you

may have to take the path of BMT. You have tried everything and have gotten the

best doctors you could find in your area, so you have done your part and the

rest is up to science. I would suggest that you look into the cord blood

trannsplant. The organization is very active up there and the aftereffects of

GVHD are much less than with a regular BMT. Sprague lives in NYC and

writes books and lectures about his experience with chord blood. I hope you

have he opportunity to look into it and perhaps hear him lecture. There is a

chord blood website that will give you a wealth of information.
