Guest guest
Dear Lottie, Your positive attitude and encouragement to others though you have many health problems of your own is something I greatly admire! You are a role model for me. You mentioned you are transfusion dependent. May I ask what that means, exactly?? (If you don't mind talking about it, of course.) Thanks for being here for everyone! JoAnn > > Dear , > I wanted to add my congratulations. You have a lot of courage and I hope you are the first to succeed in weaning yourself off Gleevec. I am struggling with the low wbc, rbc, Hgb, Hct, Platelets and am now transfusion dependent. It would be wonderful if I didn't have to go through it, but somehow I will be happy if even one person can stay off the TKI's. I was on INF for a year and Gleevec for 4, but I am still not a CCR candidate and never received my yipee and from Zavie. The moon and the stars must not be aligned for me, but I hope every success and much luck for you. At least I have outlived the initial prediction as some of the other old timers have also. Also good luck to , I remember her from my early days, too. Gosh we might have twins. xoxo to you both. > Hands & hearts, > Lottie Duthu > >
