Once you've registered at Mercola, there is a sign-in box to continue reading. Natural News has no sign in and I've had to register each time, very annoying. Fortunately, Mercola usually has the scoop so I'm not missing too much by not reading NNews.

Well, it is very annoying to me since I already subscribed to his email notification/newsletter, and now I get that notification/signin/subscribe box when I am accessing articles from within emails mercola.com sends me. I am not subscriging nor registering again, so I guess I will just have to miss his new stuff. Most of it I get other places with much less annoyance anyway. sol
Guest guest
I agree with you to a point , but when you work in a big company, many times you don't know when someone may be coming down with a flu. I also worked for 24 years in a skin care salon, and a lot of clients came through the door not feeling well, because they wanted a massage and were only thinking of themselves. My daughter works as a cashier, and she is exposed everyday to hundreds of people. So one never knows, but Thank God we have been healthy. From: Dembraski-Marsh <bdembraski@...> Subject: Re: Flu shot? Coconut Oil Date: Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 10:36 AM No, and I am recommending to anyone I know not to get it. We are being used as human guinea pigs. I take 2000 to 3000 iu of D per day, eat coconut oil, and I also give my 14 year old daughter 400 to 1000 iu per day D. We try to eat healthy. I think this is getting blown out of proportion. I know I am so sick of seeing H1N1 in the news. People get sick and then they get better. A lot of it is common sense. ie. washing your hands, staying away from sick people, etc. > > Just curious if anyone is getting the flu shot and/or the H1N1 vaccine? Guest guest
I do palm readings for people from all over the world. Many are out partying, so hard to tell if they are sickly or just drunk. I never wash my hands after holding someone's hand. I eat my dinner at my work setup so no handwashing before my meal. Since I started taking vitamin D3, I don't get sick. Back when I first started reading palms out on Square in New Orleans, money was real tight. I took no vitamin D, and I ate a crappy high carb diet. I got sick a lot from exposure to all the people. Major plagues (like the Black Death) kill a lt of people, but they do not kill everyone who was exposed to the plague. The Terrain Within: A Naturalistic Way to Think About & Practice Good Health Garko, Ph.D. Host – Let’s Talk Nutrition “The microbe is nothing. The terrain is everything.” Louis Pasteur (1822-1895) is purported to have made this statement on his deathbed. The origin of the quote is attributed to Claude Bernard (1813-1878), a physiologist and contemporary of Pasteur. By quoting Bernard, Pasteur was recanting his germ theory, a theory that assigned the cause of disease to microbes invading and reeking havoc on the body, with specific germs causing specific diseases. In contrast to Pasteur, Claude Bernard and Antoine Bechamp (1816-1908), another contemporary of Pasteur, believed disease was a condition of imbalance in the internal terrain of body. Bernard and Bechamp emphasized the context or environment in which germs lived and not the germs. On the one hand, if the terrain was balanced (homeostatic), then germs could not flourish. On the other hand, if the terrain were out of balance, then germs would thrive. In short, germs do not cause disease. Instead, they are a sign of the diseased conditions of the terrain and not the cause of those conditions (see Stockton, 2000). http://www.letstalknutrition.com/subpages/The_Terrain_Within.asp There is also the question of whether flu shots actually protect anyone from the flu. Scientists have NEVER proved their supposition. Jonas Salk testified before congress that he believed the Salk vaccine caused a polio outbreak. Guest guest
To the best of my knowledge there is no veggie source of vitamin D3. D2 is from plants but D2 is not utilized well by humans. D3 can be made from lanolin, or extracted from fish. Alobar On Mon, Nov 2, 2009 at 6:37 AM, <cocheesie420@...> wrote: > Do you recommend any vegetarian sources of vit d-3? > > Thanks. > Jules. I had to make do with D2 for decades, because I can't take fish oil or fish sourced A + D, until recently that is, when I was told about lanolin sourced D3. sol
Guest guest
Lanolin is from wool? I just stay away from animal products unless absolutely necessary. One more question, I have a 6 month old, does anyone know where I can find out about proper suppliment doses for him? Thanks, Jules. P.s. He's been raised on coconut milk. Guest guest
Here is a little something of interest. The vaccine company has an insert for doctors which patients are not supposed to see. The insert has been leaked and is now available as a PDF. Risk is supposedly small, but I sure do not want to risk getting Guillain-Barré Syndrome.
