Guest guest
Just to clarify the Gleevec Vacation. I have reported from time to time but I am on this vacation with the approval of 2 ONCs and one is reporting everything to Dr. Topaz. I chose to do this because Gleevec has controlled my CML since 2003 and I would rather not start on another treatment unless it is absolutely necessary. I am having CBCs and RT-PCRs every 2 months. When I was on Procrit the CBCs were bi-weekly. When I reach .100 I will again take 400mg Gleevec and CBCs will be every 2 weeks to see when my RBC falls below 10 so I can add the procrit for my Iron Deficient Anemia. H.
