Guest guest
The only time I remember having groin pain is when I was pregnant. And it hurt!!!!! I saw a chiropractic for mine, but it sounds like a specialist is what you need Bobby. I hope they get to the bottom of it. Jackie S. Guest guest
I am going to try and describe this pain. I can be sitting down, get up, take maybe 6 steps and this sharp stabbing pain hits me, in the right groin, and I cannot stand on the right leg. I can wait a few seconds, and maybe can walk a few steps, maybe not, It does not hurt sitting down, but does hurt lying down. Sleeping on the left side where there is no pain, is better than the other side, lying flat is better. Very weird, and I have nothing to compare it with. Can hip problems happen that fast? No pain at all, then suddenly it's there? Fri. is now seeming to be a very long way away! That is my dr. apt. Guest guest
Any chance of post-herpetic trigeminal neuralgia? My dentist said he got that after a bout with shingles. The shingles had subsided, but for a while every time he would step on his right side, he'd get a jabbing pain up through his side. When he wasn't walking, it was no problem. He recognized it when I came to him with terrible toothaches that suddenly showed up on the upper right side. WOW did that hurt. Appeared after a rash outbreak had come and gone. Durned if he wasn't right on the money about the cause! I'd never heard of it before. From: rcd1929@... Date: Wed, 19 Aug 2009 05:56:39 -0700 Subject: Re: [ ] Re: female groin pain I am going to try and describe this pain. That is my dr. apt. Guest guest
Hi Esther, had you no idea at all you had a hip problem? That would really be the last thing I would think this would be. Not knowing , hip, or veins, I decided veins would be first to check out, then the hip. So Fri. I will see what the vasc. dr. has to say, I don't like the sound of either one, but who has choices anyway? I am wondering, which ever it is, or what ever, why not pain all the time, why only every now and then, and it is worse today than ever before. Let us know how you do. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Suzzie > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone, what do you know about groin pain? I don't ever exert myself, so am sure it is not a pulled muscle. But it is there, every now and then, lately more than not. Hurts when I walk, but not all the time. I have a circulation problem, have had a stent put in the right calf, have had an angioplasty of the upper right let, and the artery from the stomach to the right leg. Also have a total occlusion of the femural artery of the left leg. I googled groin pain, and discover it could possibly be vascular related, and wondered if any of you ever had this problem? I have an apt. with my vasc. dr. Fri, but am always open for information from you guys.
