Guest guest
I'm having major gum/tooth problems.. I had attributed that to the mtx. My gums are a bright red. I teach school, and the kids asked me why they were so red. That makes you feel real good. --- " sherman.fam@... Guest guest
Hello List, I have a friend who has a leg wound that won't heal. He also has Diabetes, his kidneys seem to be failing and his body is retaining water. In the past few days, he has gained 22 pounds. The infectious disease specialist he saw today said he could heal his wound but it wouldn't do any good until his water retention problem is resolved. Until then, the fluids will continue to ooze from the wound because of the water pressure. He was prescribed " Bemadex " and " Zocarlin " for that purpose, but no success so far. Any suggestions? Guest guest
Hi Rosemarie, It is not the most pleasant thing in the world, but you can bite down and suck on a clove of garlic and it might help. I have done it in the past and it has worked. Fresh garlic can burn tho, so if you are really sensitive you might want to bite and release and bite and release and get the garlic into the area without burning the gums. Guest guest
Hi Rosemarie, Have you tried rinsing your mouth with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and Listerine? Recently, I had a painful tooth and it felt like it was infected. Several times each day, I rinsed my mouth with them, focusing my pressure on the area of my bad tooth. It took a while, but the pain went away. BTY, I used the WalMart versions to save money. Also, I thing doing the same thing with Colloidal Silver helped. However, that consumes a lot of CS. If you don't make your own, I can direct you to a site that sells it by the gallon for under 30 cents per ounce. That doesn't include S & H costs. Haven't bought any myself, as I make my own, but was told by someone on the Silver List that it was good. Let me know if you want the URL. Guest guest
Rose, Here is the link: http://silver-lightning.com/ . Don't forget the WalMart clone of Listerine - it is also a germ killer. The way I do it is to first rinse my mouth with the Hydrogen Peroxide (which leaves a bad taste) and then I do the same with the clone. I think it helps plus it washes out the Peroxide taste. Bad as is the clone's taste (to me), it is less awful tasting than the Peroxide. Plus, you shouldn't swallow the Peroxide and rinsing your mouth with the clone helps prevent that happening. Please keep me informed, and good fortune. Guest guest
Similar war story: This same thing happened to me- I was in one city years ago having tooth pain and an open minded dentist interested in holistic dentistry applied clove oil before putting the filling in, and thereby prevented a root canal. The clove oil stimulated my immune system and caused the root to pull away from the nerve. Because I was on the artist budget, she put in a plastic type filling and told me I would need to get it replaced at some point. Fast forward 5 years to Los Angeles, where a very arrogant " dentist to the stars " made fun of the filling (put in because of my budget) and removed it, and I was STILL able to taste the clove oil placed there years before...Unfortunately, his superiority complex prevented him from undertaking the study of holistic dentistry, and 2 weeks later I found myself writhing in pain and needing the root canal my other dentist had prevented with the clove oil. STRONG ADVICE HERE: SEE A HOLISTIC DENTIST...he or she might be able to save your tooth like mine was able to do before the other bonehead got his hands on it.... Guest guest
Hi, My son began having incredible tooth pain, sometimes ALL of his teeth hurt, when he was about age 13 -- which made absolutely no sense as he had never had a cavity. Our dentist did x-rays and treated him for gingivitis. After we had the Lyme diagnosis and treatment, all of the tooth and gum problems went away. Just passing this along for what it's worth. Guest guest
Hydrogen peroxide works well for curing and preventing gum disease. Also on the pain, you can take rubber bands and put on the first knuckle of the hand, on the side that this person is experiencing the pain, or cloths clips that have the spring in them. Put them over the entire finger. Hope this helps, Gale ^i^ http://www.AwakeningsEnergy.com " Strange times are these in which we live, when old and young are taught in falsehoods school. I mixed up a preparation of essential oils and applied it to her mouth for 3 to 4 times a day for the first couple of days, and then once in the morning and once at night for about a week. After just one day, the swelling began to diminish and the redness decreased. After a week, the infection was gone. Mix together: 1 ounce of " carrier " oil: almond (preferably), sesame, or other light vegetable oil about 8 drops of eucalyptus essential oil about 8 drops of thyme essential oil about 8 drops of oregano essential oil about 6 drops of tea tree essential oil 8-10 drops of peppermint essential oil Put on a cotton swab and apply to gums 3 times/day or as often as needed. Or, simply drizzle into mouth and hold on the affected areas. It might sting at first, but after even one day there should be considerable improvement. The " big 4 " essential oils that are anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal are eucalyptus, thyme, oregano, and tea tree. Peppermint is not quite as strong, but will add a pleasing flavor to the mix. Guest guest
No you will put a rubber band on each finger. So you will have 5 of them on the same side of the pain. From what I have read first knuckle of the hand. Let me know how this works, I am curious myself. Gale, for the pain you said put rubber bands on the first knuckle of the hand. Do you mean the index finger? And put the rubber bands over the entire finger from the tip all the way down to the knuckle? Corny
Guest guest
Well the H202 will take care of the inside of his mouth, but if the pain is still there, what harm can it hurt to give it a try. Also tell him it wouldn't hurt to put some H202 in his ear on that side as well. Amazing! (or maybe not). He'll keep doing it hoping that the swelling disappears also. He thought the rubber band idea was " a little wacko " so he hadn't done it yet. Too bad, I too was curious. I gave her some colloidal silver and told her to take a mouthfull and keep it over the tooth as long as possible, then swallow. She did this about 4 times during that day and the pain disappeared. Whe her next tooth became infected (pain was worse than the first one) she called me for some cs again. Worked a second time. I make my own colloidal silver and always have it in the house. Guest guest
, I used to get a tooth pain when I had a sinus infection coming on, called it my "sinus tooth." It was a good predictor! It finally went away when I had the last polypectomy and it hasn't come back, even with new sinus infections. i think it had to do with the nerve and infection location. Guest guest
Yes, me too. My x-rays at the dentist show that my sinus cavities go down in between the roots of my teeth...not normal, probably caused by all of the polyps and sinus pressure. Sometimes when my sinuses are full/infected I also have tooth pain. It comes & goes. I was just glad it wasn't a cavity. Good luck. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, or anyone that maybe able to answer my ? Well I ran out of supplements and money to buy more. However I still had a little bit of cod liver oil caps and come cal/mag. I got a constipated I believe from not have the other supplements, because I am still eating the foods according to the diet and doing the electrolyte drink. > > Being constipated, I started taking more olive oil and butter, and I thought I'd take the cal/mag, and clo. Well it worked, but then I got tooth pain that I'd been dealing with about for 2 1/2 months. It had subsided when I stopped taking all the supplements. When I started taking them again due to being constipated, I thought what could be causing this tooth pain? Well then I ran out of cal/mag and the pain stopped and I continued to take the clo. > I'm planning to buy the supplements again asap, but the toothpain caused by the cal/mag, I am not looking forward to. +++Hi Angie. The reason you " think " cal/mag caused toothpain was because it caused healing reactions in your teeth, which are obviously necessary for you teeth. Cal/mag is extremely important for the health of your bones and teeth. So it is very important that to take cal/mag. Your teeth will eventually heal themselves if you are completely on the diet and taking all of the supplements. I suggest you put a priority on getting cal/mag, however you can save money by making Eggshell Calcium Citrate: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/supp2.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hey Chemo-Sabi, Hang in there. Give it some time. The eye bleeds are really scary looking. I get several a year without any discomfort. The only way I know that I have one is when my wife mentions it to me. I then look in the mirror and say wow. Guest guest
Yes that is how it was with me too. They go away in a few days. They were not a huge concern. I just found some notes I made back in 2004 when I first started Gleevec. I say that the best way for me to take my gleevec was with a glass of milk. I tolerated it that way. And I took it at 10:30 just before I went to bed. My rash started only two weeks after taking it and it went away but came back and stayed. I was one of the unfortunate ones that could not handle the side effects. The rash was all over my body even face. Nothing would help. They even tried steroids. I finally had to go off it and on to Sprycel. Which was better. One thing to remember is your QOL is very important and you have many options. Some people do very well on Gleevec!!! Very well. Guest guest
hey , the side effects do go away, my dad had the muscle pain in the legs, so bad he could not sit or walk, they took him off gleevec for a week, started him a week later on 100 m twice a day and then bumped him up to 200m twice a day. i have read drinking lots of water helps and so does taking magnesium, as far as the eyes the only thing i have read about is swelling, which my dad is going through now, Hang in there my friend it will get better. all the best, Â From: ryanromero49er <ryan.romero@...> Subject: [ ] Tooth Pain Date: Wednesday, November 4, 2009, 4:29 PM Â Hi everyone! Guest guest
here is something i found, you might want to give it a try. I've been on Gleevec since 1999 and had multiple eye bleeds until, at the recommendation of someone in the group, I started taking bilberry extract (bought in the grocery store.) I haven't had one since. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I doubt it.
