Guest guest
, Glad to have you back. Moving is so hard...I never intend to move again! Congrats on planning to start again on Monday. And yes, I love that commercial even though I really hate to see my son start first grade. Have a great weekend! Rae 260/175/

I love it and I make my girls do it with me. I might talk Ed into letting me get the shorter one, too. Right now I use the 2-mile tapes and just stop at 1 mile and FF to the cool-down at the end. My asthma and arthritis has been so bad this summer I'm barely exercising, and when I do, I ache for days afterwards. > Take care all and have a happy August. You, too. Guest guest
Sue: I am still doing the McD and Ornish plans. I noticed that I feel much better and I have less reaction to my meds when I follow the plan. Do you still have drought conditions in NJ? and did your son leave for college yet? Guest guest
WELCOME BACK Glad to hear you are up and running again. I got a new putie a couple of weeks ago and a larger screen also. But I still have to wear bifocals, hehe. You are truely wicked, pretending to give that shot to your husband. I got a heck of a kick out of that. Maybe my sense of humor is a little warped too huh? Thanks for the update on #2Sue. Dan
Guest guest
GREAT to know the move is behind you. I have thought of you and your family often. I hope things ended smoother than they started with the move. I'm sure your son got computer protection with enough joules to protect your precious games, though I fear your computer time might be only nights when you can't sleep if your son is anything like mine are . : ) /AS, FMS,etc.,etc.

Oh well one can hope :-))) Hi Crystal, You might ask your primary physician to order a food panel test from a blood testing lab in the area. I know that LabCorp (www.labcorp.com) offers a basic test nationwide and I'm sure many others also do. The one I took a couple of years ago was a comprehensive test that rated foods from 0-5, with 1 being very minor and 5 meaning I could die if I ate it. The ratings are based on the level of IgE antibodies floating around in the bloodstream. My pin prick test from an allergist did not detect any food allergies, but the blood test I did on my own listed a number of foods as "1" and a few "2's". Although I thought at the time that a 1-2 rating was worth ignoring, I later found that avoiding these foods as much as possible turned out to be very beneficial. Now I'm just trying to figure out the "why" question. Might help to save you an awful lot of time trying to sort through all the possible food reactions, if any. Especially if the reaction begins to occur 3-20 hours after you ate. Here is what a local lab out in Arizona offers. I'm sure everyone can find a similar test nearby: Allergy Testing: Basic Food Panel $59 Tests 46 items (includes: milk, eggs, meats and grains). Southwest Regional Inhalant Panel $59 Tests 45 items (includes: grasses, dust, pollens and pet hair). Comprehensive Food Panel $109 Tests 90 items—all of basic panel plus many more food items. COMBO PRICE Basic Food and Southwest Regional Inhalant Panels $98 Comprehensive Food and Southwest Regional Inhalant Panels $144 Good luck with your search. (AZ) - Sunny, dry and 85. Guest guest
Crystal, Welcome back. I feel for you with all the conditions. I really feel that way sometimes, I could see a doctor once a week and still not deal with all the problems I am facing. It really does require a medical partner, and even my PCP, who I've been with for 15 years and who is great, just is not always up to the task. I am concerned about you mentioning Singulair and that you have liver disease. Singulair may be contraindicated in liver disease, and the dose may need to be adjusted or you may need to be monitored a lot more frequently if you're on it and you have liver disease. This is true of all of the leukotriene modifiers. Please check into this. As much as there is potential for it to help you, there is a huge potential for it to harm you if you have liver disease. I would also be careful with that Alkalol. Many of us react to menthol, which is in the Alkalol, and I would suspect that could be making your problems worse. Not only that, but it also has pine needle extract in it!!! Aspirin originally came from willow bark, but it's related to pine and I for one am VERY allergic to pine (if I sit by a pine tree I break out in hives). So sometimes these all- natural supplements might be hazardous, and I would seriously consider if the Alkalol is something that is helping you or harming you. Good luck to you, Crystal. I really do feel what you are going through, and it can be so tough. Lori
