Hi Lottie,

The only way you can lose all your data on your drive is if someone

'formatted' the drive. This is a very drastic and deliberate thing that is

done. There are many 'are you sure' questions you need to answer yes to

before the drive can be formatted.

You might have to go to a shop that is very experienced in recovering disk

drives.

On the bright side, think of it as a fresh start.

Hi everybody,

My computer crashed and if it ever happened to you, then I don't have to

tell you how painful it is to be without a computer for over a week. Some of

your emails addresses are gone by way of cyber space, as there was not even

the letter " z " left. If you want to be in my address book, please reply to

help me get my addresses back.

Can anyone tell me what happened (other than it crashed), why nothing was

left in my computer? Not even a virus would be so cruel?

Back from the cyber dead,

Lottie Duthu

I like that " a fresh start "

That has happened to me a couple of times and I had to start all over again.

It was ok and in starting over I was refreshed. And I got rid of a lot of

bad stuff I never wanted hanging around either-I like that Zaive
