Guest guest
Dear , I'm sorry to hear about your aunt. My advice would be to call the doctor and find out what kind of leukemia your aunt has, then you will be able to learn more about her condition. As a family member, you should be able to explain your relationship and get some information if your aunt is in agreement. It may be a little premature to press the panic button just yet. I can well imagine your aunt being in shock and not hearing everything she needed to hear. I don't think I heard much more, as my doctor informed me on the phone and I was speechless and asked no questions, I just went to another doctor for a second opinion and then a third and a fourth. We will support you and your aunt in any way we can with answers to your questions based on our own experiences. I think you would want her to have the best care and that would be to find a CML specialist if indeed that is the diagnosis, We have members who live in Florida who could furnish the places they receive treatment to help in the process.
