Dube - I'm one of those s-o-f's myself and it took me about a year to

learn this. I'm over it now and life is a lot better! I'm hoping to

save some other s-o-f's some time and trouble. :-)

Dear Tammy,

" One of the most important things someone said to me, right in the beginning,

was: " What would you be doing if this was your child?

Right on. Our new friend should be worried about her children as well as

herself. When you put it that way, it makes sense. When you have any kind of

blood disease, you don't have the option of " waiting it out " . There has been an

avalanche of mail going out to offer their help and opening their hearts. I

hope Dianne understands that we want her to be a strong advocate for herself and

all of us stand ready to assist her in any way we can.

Hands & hearts always,

Lottie
