I mentioned the reimbursement to my trial nurse. He was not aware of this but

was going to ask Ariad about it for me.  It would be nice if they agreed to pay

back some of those traveling expenses even though they do pay for the testing

already.  If I have an option, I'll absorb the traveling cost if they continue

the other test expense. They are not cheap.

Yeah, the trial pays for all the procedures that are not " customary care " for

CML. I didn't get the option of the money towards expenses, but hey I'll take

the great results and feeling good.

Heaven knows we have had more echocardiograms than most and I doubt it is a

cheap procedure.

Hi, I forgot to tell you guys something.  I had an echocardiogram Mon. and the

gal doing the procedure told me the drug company was paying for this and be sure

medicare or AARP were not billed.  That is a first, I have been in 6 trials, in

9 years, and have never had a procedure paid for by the drug co. that I am aware

of.  Now if they would just pay for the bma/bmb, that would be nice!  Ariad also

paid $1000.00 towards expenses, that was pretty nice too.
