I'm in Orange County California....I like Zavie's idea- Las Vegas...what happens

in Vegas stays in Vegas but it isn't the middle of the country.  I'd travel

anywhere to meet the old school cmlers.

also spend time in Tucson, AZ.

Las Vegas works for me, and it's almost exactly halfway from this part of the

country--Las Vegas is 2,200miles from Anchorgae and 2,200 miles from NYC and

Miami FL. Also, there are often reduced airfares to Las Vegas.

I live in Eugene, Oregon.

I think if people mostly want to gather to meet and visit....and not so much

consider it a sight-seeing trip..........

Las Vegas is probably the cheapest place to go.....sometimes airfare specials,

lower hotels room and cheap buffets! maybe a show or ????

the other larger cities are pretty spendy places to visit
