Guest guest
I was diaignosed in 05, that is when I joined the group. My story with CML is coming out very good on the other side. I had a BMT in 07 and currently I am CML and GVHD free and back at work. I am truly fortunate to be coming out the other side of this _______________________ Dear Therese, I am happy to hear that you are doing so well after your BMT, it is unusual to have recovered so fully in such a short period of time. As with the other members of this group, I am sure they are as surprised as I am that your father has also been diagnosed with CML. I hope he will become a member to get on course to learn as much as he can about CML and to hear our stories to inspire him to keep the fires of hope burning. Though you may never know what caused either of you to fall victim to CML, the great lesson is that you learn to live with it. What we try to impart to newcomers is that we as a group and individually have all come a long way since our diagnosis. Some have reached the apex and others are still trudging, but we don't give up. I hope your father can keep his spirits up and learn from your own experience as well. There will always be a place open for him when he is ready. Guest guest
Lottie: I am kinda of suprised how well I am doing at times also. I have seen and have been involved with the worse and the best of this process we call living with CML. We learn to apprecieate good when we get it! I am trying to reach out and help my father. I am still numb with this realization. Your posts are awsome, thank you! Because I have been coming out the other side I haven't posted much. I kept saying to myself to get off this site. It is hard, I feel like I have a connection with everyones lives and stories. It was hard to leave, I guess it was meant to be for me to keep this connection. I hope my father has the guts to reach out also. Thanks everyone and best wishes, Therese From: Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> Subject: [ ] The Stone Saga " CML " < > Date: Sunday, October 4, 2009, 3:08 AM I was diaignosed in 05, that is when I joined the group.
