Hi, I have been on Ariad since April 13, of this year, here are today's labs:

wbc - 7.0;  rbc 4.07;  hgb - 1`1.8;  plt - 152, neuts 5.0

So far so good with NO side effects, I remain on 15 mg once a day. I am pcr

0.017, and have never felt better.  However, this is exactly how it went with

Sprycel, with the exception of the great pcr, for 1 1/2 years, so I am praying

nothing bad like PE will hit me.  Hope all is well with everyone ,

I don't receive Aranesp because they want $1,700.00 a shot for it, I am anemic,

and the iron seems to help.  but it is always something, and always will be

with us.  I am keeping good thought that a bmt will not be the way to go for

you, Bobby

Just to let you know what's going on. I had labs today here at home and my

hemoglobin has fallen to 7.1. I will be receiving a transfusion tomorrow

morning. It will make me feel soooo much better.

Have a great

weekend.
