Dear Pepi, Anne, Francine, and everyone else;

It's pretty clear you have lots of enthusiam for you products, and

this is exactly what I meant. If you start on these boards, just see

the kind of response your getting? It may be more manageable to just

start right here on this board, move to another, then another, then

think of brochures, webpages, etc.

You want to succeed, and don't want to get too many orders too fast.

2 main reasons business fail is 1)underdemand and oversupply and 2)

undersupply and overdemand. Hard to grasp at first, but very true.

You have a unique opportunity. Not only can you be raising dollars

for HLDF and BLDF to begin, but you also have the chance to grow your

own businesses slowly, and keep a captive customer base as you are

able to produce more.

You are all doing such an incredible job at keeping this energy

alive, and that is very important. Please also help keep the

message alive, which is Dollars for Defense our LLMD's.

PS (I'm ready to order)

Sincerely,

Regina

Francine;

I'm posting it and sending it everywhere I go. I can probably make

the time for the Bug Guard, and also get your message out. Please

give it a day or so, as I'm doing this very late, and people will

need time to respond. Please keep us posted on the feedback so we all

know where it stands. Also; please rest in between.

Sincerely,

Regina

Dear Pepi;

Thanks much for the update. Let us know when you are ready.

A thought; if your scale lies, perhaps some will buy that with their

chocolate. It would then come in handy...

Mr. Larson, we are doing a fundraiser here in Florida for children with JRA. We are having a fashion show and the children with JRA are in the show. It is a wonderful fundraising effort. Just an FYI

Hello everyone. I really wanted to involved in the light the night event but i

live 5 hours from the closest. So i decided that i am going to hold a fundraiser

in my area (Beckley, wv) I was thinking of calling it Hop out Leukemia. I plan

on doing field day -like activities so i could get my whole community involved

including children. I have called around and ask if there was a possibility of

some of bigger corps. sponsoring and alot said that would. I was wondering if

anyone had any advice? LLS is a great organization and I want to do a small part

to help out. Thanks and God bless, amanda

Fellow doctors,

It's a beautiful setting with a commanding view of Portland city lights. I spent last night setting up some of the event at Dr. Hosko's house. Choosing music for the sound system, and staging everything. We're thinking heavy metal meets Ravi Shankar....(That was for ).

Last night the senator called me and was very appreciative, happy and looking forward to the event. She even stopped by my house to say 'hi' on her way out of the office. One of my sister's greeted her since I wasn't home from work. I had asked the senator (Laurie Monnes ) if I could get some lawn signs to put up in front of the event. She personally stopped by with them. SO, for those of you coming, you'll notice the lawn signs in front of the driveway.

There are two entries at this event, front (west) and side (north). The driveway wraps around the entire property allowing easy entry and exit for any size vehicle. However, we ask that you park off the drive and onto the back and north side lawns so no one will be blocked when leaving.

It's on the bluff, so can get cold and windy,but the home is warm and inviting with fireplaces blazing.

I'm leaving to buy the food and drinks in about an hour. If you decide to make it and haven't rsvp, just leave me a quick email for head count, but I will be buying extra in case you don't make the 'window' of time. Dr. Hosko is an artist as well. You'll notice large wildlife paintings all around his home. They're incredible.

It'll be a fun evening, please come!

Re: Fundraiser

Dear colleagues,

Please make it to this event Senator Monnes is Chair of the Senate Health Committee and as such extremely key for us. The Senator is extremely excited and thankful we are doing this for her and I have learned over the years these personal events are what built a lasting personal connection with a legislator that nothing else does. This is the type of grass roots work that the large lobby cannot duplicate and that which has helped level the playing field for us politically. Help me as your lobbyist help you, help me to move the profession forward we have an opportunity with the coming universal health care system that may not come again and the time to act, to all pull together is now!!

Between now and the 2013 regular legislative session will be very critical for us as a profession as the universal health care system comes on line in 2015. We need those personal connections and folks like Sen. Laurie Monnes in our corner.

The donation we are asking for the Senator is only $50 if you want to give more great you checks should be written to "Friends of Laurie Monnes ." If $50 is to much do $25 and if that is to much come anyway and help fill the room for the profession and the Senator showing your support in that way....

....and hey did I mention it's going to be a blast tomorrow night come join us!

Cheers,

Vern Saboe 541-231-4528 Cell call me ask me anything....
