Truth Publishing.com has issued a grocery warning on foods that have dangerous

ingredients, as follows:

Like hot dogs, bacon, sausage and processed meats? They contain sodium nitrites

which causes cancer. This is what gives color to meat to make it appear red.

What do we cook with? Hydrogenated oils. They cause heart disease, nutritional

deficiencies and deterioration of cellular health. It's used to extend shelf

life and we all like that idean. You will find it in cookies, crackers,

margarine and other " manufactured foods " . It is sometimes referred to as the

plastic fat in our diets.

Artificial sweeteners? Yummy, we all love the sweet taste, and it has no

calories, but what is worsed is it is made from excitotoxins. Recognize these

names? Aspartame, monosodium glutamate and others. These are called neurotoxic

chemicals because they directly harm nerve cells by over-exciting them to the

point of cell death. Dr. Blaylock has also found them in diet soda,

canned soup, salad dressing, breakfast sausage and even vegetarian foods. Why

do we use them? They add flavor to over-processed, boring foods that taste like

cardboard.

More harmful news. Feeding children hot dogs increases their risk of brain

cancer by 300%. Strawberry yogurt and any red-looking grocery products are

mainly colored with dead, ground-up cochineal beetles. Look for the ingredient

" carmine " . It's listed right there on the label. They also hide MSG in

safe-sounding ingredients like yeast extract or torula yeast. Check your

labels.

Wow, look at those beautiful Florida oranges, makes your mouth water. Many are

actually dipped in an artificla orange dye to make them more appealing. Yes,

it's the same dye that's been banned for use in foods because of cancer risk.

Even the Girl Scouts need to clean up their cookies, made with hydrogenated oils

that contain trans fatty acids. I'm disappointed, I love their cookies.

Eating just one serving of processed meats every day increases your risk of

pancreatic cancer by 67%. Another tidbit you didn't know is that 80% of

children diagnosed with ADHD are given artificial color additive (Big red #2 &

#5) that causes behavioral disorders.

Slim Fast meal replacement uses sugar as their #1 ingredient. What about those

lucious avacaco dips? Some don't even contain avacado, they substitute

hydrogenated soybean oil and use artificial colors.

Watch what your daughters are drinking. Active girls who drink cola drinks are

five times more likely to have had bone fractures than girls who do not drink

soda, according to a study published by Grace Wyshak of the Harvard School of

Public Health (HSPH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS) in the June issue of the

Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.

Like colas? All types of soft drinks are very acidic, especially colas. In

order to neutralise a glass of cola, it takes 32 glasses of high pH alkaline

water. Can you drink that much water?

" Soft drinks have much in common with hard liquor " , claimed the co-discoverer of

insulin, Dr. Best.

Coffee has over 1000 chemicals per cup of coffee, and 500 of them are known

carcinogens. Caffeine is a " pesticide " given off by the bean to keep the bugs

from eating it. Each cup of coffee contains about 120 mg of caffeine. Were that

amount injected directly into your veins, you would physically die. Have another

cup of " Joe " .

According to the Ohio State University Medical Center dietitian Beth ,

there is no advantage to drinking sports drinks unless you are exercising for

less than a solid hour. Sports drinks are high in calories. Using them to

" replenish " without exercising sufficiently are capable of actually leading to

weight gain.

This highlights the importance of water in ALL our everyday lives, especially

those of us involved in intense exercise or sports which rely heavily on

building muscle tissue which is basically constructed from water and protein.
