Guest guest
I had a bone marrow transplant in 1997 for cml, totally cured a long time ago. My first dental implant just failed, only a few months after insertion. I am wondering about bone softness due to the massive radiation we received? The oral surgeon doesnt know anything. Its so rare that these fail I dont think its a coincidence. The alternative now is a bridge which I am leaning toward. If the implant fails again he would do a bridge. I hate to go through all the appointments and have it fail. Any information about this greatly appreciated. I did read that oxygen chamber treatments have greatly helped people who had jaw radiation - helped with implants staying put. Thanks, and peace Kip
