Guest guest Posted November 30, 2002 Report Share Posted November 30, 2002 had 3 negative sweat tests an one negative genetic test...then once they found the neutropenia, etc and did a bone marrow biopsy, they realized he had Shwachman Diamond Syndrome (for more info on shwachman diamond go to www.shwachmandiamondamerica.org) it is the second most common cause of pancreatic insufficiency after CF. ph was later diagnosed with SDS, too... he has never had a sweat chloride. also has CVID....
