Guest guest
Hi all, I was DX in October 2008 with Chronic Phase CML, I had a marvelous response coming from 113.553% baseline to 0.468% which was my result in April 2009. However in my July PCR it came back as an increase to 18.204%. I had the standard retest done which came back at 48% which I guess is a definate Glivec failure. I have had a BMA done last week and they are currentley carrying out a mutation test at the Hammersmith. I know that there are many individuals that fail Glivec and move onto other TKI's due to mutations etc. Does anyone have an experience similar to this as I would be interested to understand what your approach, actions etc were. I want to makesure that I am asking the right questions and making sure the right tests are being done. I know we have many long term CMlers on the site and would appreciate any information experiences you may have. Best wishes Mark
