Guest guest
We have been having discussions about how we are having to pay for drugs. This is an organization that provides free or small co-pay drugs. They are not cancer drugs as we know them, these are drugs for other things for diabetics, depression, antibiotics, etc. If you are interested, go to this website and look at all the links. I went first to www.access2wellness.com and clicked on resources. From there you can explore what your special needs are. I went to http://www.access2wellness.com/a2w/patient-welcome.html# to get an application for approval. You can download the PDF files and bring to your doctor if you qualify for any drug that is listed. You can see them on the sidebar. I know there must be some of you who take these drugs and would qualify, so I am passing this on to you in the hope that you can get the assistance you need. This is the company I have been working with for months and finally got approved when my doctor dropped me, so you will have to find a doctor who is willing to complete his part of the application. Not all want to do this, so you may have to search for a new doctor, but the meds are there. The name of the foundation is Janssen Ortho Patient Assistance Foundation. I hope you will take advantage of this and even if you are not approved at first, you can ask for an appeal. As I said, I have been working with them for months to get Procrit. With patience, you can find organizations that are willing to help you if you qualify and how would you know if you don't try? I have made numerous phone calls, so be prepared to work at this, it won't happen overnight. FYI, Lotttie Duthu FYI, Lottie Duthu
