Guest guest
Hi to all, Happy early Halloween!!! I had labs done last Monday the 12th, and this past Monday the 19th. My platelets continue to be low at 28,000. They have to be 76,000 to restart Ariad. My wbc is 1.8, hgb 9.1. I feel great! A little tired in the evenings from working all day, but I know how to nap. . I have been going to a chiropractor for my lower back. When I was harvesting my garden vegetables this Fall it took a toll on my back. I spent lots of hours standing at the kitchen sink washing the beautiful fruits. It feels much better now. Does anyone have information on Stage 4 lung cancer large cell carcinoma? The teacher that I work with just learned that her husband has it. He is only 37 years old, never smoked a day in his life, but both his parents are smokers. They have 4 small children ages 14 to 3 years. It has been a long month since diagnosis for them. They have consulted with local oncologists and doctors from Mayo in MN. Neither sound very hopeful. Sooooooo I am reaching out to my cml family for ANY hopeful words for them. This is very hard to see her so sad at school. She has missed several days to be with her husband at drs appt but does come when she can. Thanks so much to you all. Gods Blessings, Jackie S. (I aplogize for the cut/paste. I wanted to send this to other groups that I belong to and that's so much faster.)
