Guest guest
Who did you try to interview? (I'm in your town) I'd like to know too about Ped who are willing to work with our kids. Have you tried Dr Kaye Sykes? I hope she's not the one who wouldn't be interviewed. I think she's great. Thanks, Rhonda in CA
Guest guest
Hi , Yes, I feel exactly the same. I am seeing a new rheumy next month too and I dread breaking him in also. I'm nervous he won't believe that I have pa due to lack of visible symptoms. I did just see a physiatrist at a pain clinic and she was wonderful. She walked in and said... Oh, so young... I'm a young looking 37 and she read about the pain and pa on my chart. That was a good beginning. She agreed my back pain was inflamed tendons along the spine and went right to work giving me trigger point cortisone shots. She set me up for weekly shots for 2 months to try to get the pain under control. Now my new rheumy will have to deal with my fatigue, hand, feet, rib elbow wrist and achiles pain.... hang in there, nancy

Guest guest
sorry it has been some time since i have posted. patrick has been to see a new doctor, her name is dr. ellis, and she is at wake forest baptist hospital comprenshive cancer center. he had a bma/bmb plus assorted and various bloodlettings. it was so difficult getting his marrow that they actually bent the trocanter into a ''c'' ,tough bones has my kid. well that is not all, we had to fly ,not literally, back to our home town to admit him to the hospital here as he has mrsa and he will have surgery on his neck in the morning to excise the infected area on his neck as the area is encapsulated and iv antibiotics just aren't enough to get rid of ths bad boy. he is upset because he is on precautions and he thought it was for the mrsa, but our family doc. is worried about his compromised immune system due to the cml and so everyone has to wear a mask and or gloves. so please keep him in your prayers he needs them now . \ peggy
