Beth, I am sorry to hear that your dad is not improving. I will continue to pray for him and your family. I did send out a card for him a few days ago. I hope it lifts his spirts.

Right back at ya Jo. You certainly have a lot to deal with your self. Sending both you and Bayly hugs from afar. Tell him he ought to go to for a visit to the Pain Free Palace!

I'm so sorry to hear that Liz. I know everything must seem surreal

right now. You'll always have those warm memories of your dad to

treasure -always. Let yourself cry, and laugh, and laugh while you

cry. I never understood the laughter through the tears until my dad

died.

My prayers to your family. We're all here for you.

Hugs,

I thought of you today. My sister, 26, just got engaged. She will

miss out on the walk down the aisle and him knowing her kids. I

cherish that I got that with him.

you were so blessed with a wonderful father! I am just so, so sorry for your

loss!!!!!

Liz,

I'm sorry for your tremendous loss. I have been there, too - it's very,

very difficult, especially this time of year (my dad died over

Thanksgiving weekend 15 years ago). If you need to visit with someone

who has gone through it, I'm here, too. I have been where you are and

understand how you feel.

Sincerely,

Ok so here we are, i have talked to a few of you via email and now im going to

post, my dad found out in August he has CML at the age of 84, he was told by his

doctor that his blood looked good last week and that he does not need to see him

for 3 months, for me this does not sound right, he was just put on Gleevec at

the end of Sept was taken off for a week because the side effects were to bad,

just put back on two weeks ago and is now at 400, if anyone has any information

on medical care and cml at his age please let me know.

thanks,
