Guest guest
Hi all, It is Avis not writing about cousin Dona. I have a piece of tissue in left breast which has looked strange for about 20 years. When I moved to Seattle, they did a needle biopsy for curiosities sake. It is a " clump " of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Absolutely no symptoms and blood tests OK. Doesn't even show on ultra sound. It seems to me related to leukemia. (?) Oncologist said if I had a shingles shot, I would have the worst case of shingles imaginable. Just thought I'd mention it. Btw, Dona back from her week at MDACC. Larry had retired (bone marrow expert). Maybe not nice to mention names, but after BMA;s since early 2001, and never a pain, she had a terrible experience. No BP taken before so she asked for it. He couldn't seem to do anything constructive. She felt something running down sides and he said it was just blood. Finally finished and she had to tell him to take BP again. So his name is Prince and you might not want to risk him. She finally had to see a Dr. in Tucson as bleeding kept up and was painful. Avis (AKA) Hertz Nurtle. My biopsy Dec. 2005 Dona #141 on Zavie's list
