paul, miss those big oranges and ruby reds, also real texas bbq. can't get used

to this carolina sauce and pork, pork, pork, pork! my ex. had family that lived

in the valley . we lived in houston for 18 yrs. i hated it. to hot to humid to

many bugs! i live in west jefferson nc that is in the western mountains. my son

pat was dx. on 8/20/09

My neighbor is from Harlengen, Much warmer winter for sure. Hope you have a

nice, safe trip.

Peggy I do agree with you about the hot humid summers with more bugs than one

needs.

And yes real Texas BBQ. I remember going to Pennsylvania for vacation one year

and made a mistake of ordering BBQ... they boiled the meat and poured sauce on

it.. YUK Was not very tasty.

Everyone is welcome to visit San . Spring, fall, and winter

are fantastic----but I'd advise avoiding the hot summer months. If

you like barbeque and real Mexican food, this is the place to be.
