Guest guest
Hey group! Just thought I'd share this with everyone in case you experience the same thing. It was coming on time for my mid-afternoon meal. I was RAVENOUSLY hungry but couldn't bear another chicken breast & rice. Working at the University, I have access to all the fast-food type places and Burger King was calling my name. I was about to give in when I decided to check out the burger king website for nutritional information just to justify that " it wasn't SO bad " . Well... you be the judge: WHOPPER® With Cheese 760 cals, 48g fat, 47g carbs, 35g protein French Fries-King Size 590 cals, 30g fat, 74g carbs, 5g protein COCA COLA ® Classic (med) 280 cals 70g carbs Okay... everyone together now: EEP! So that's 1630 calories. To put this in perspective, my BMR is 2033 calories. Incidentally, I had a sandwich (roast chicken, lots of veggies, whole wheat breat) instead. I'm SOO glad I didn't weaken to the point of actually consuming that crap!!! .

Yeah, I did the " eat everything you like before you start cuz you don't get it ever again " sort of thing before I started my program too. But then I realized that I was probably just going to put on even MORE weight by doing that - plus we DO get a free day for all those guilty pleasures. So I'd reccommend (and this is just my opinion) that you spend the next few days starting to get in the habit of eating 6 small meals a day cuz when you hit the 1st you gotta hit the ground running!! Course... that's just my opinion... I may be wrong. K
Guest guest
Hey Becca! Yeah, if I'm in a hurry and need to grab something on my way to work I'll usually stop in at Subway too. I personally prefer the roasted chicken with nothing but veggies, mustard, and a little pepper on a whole wheat bun. I don't worry about having it " open faced " ... having the top half on helps keep all the good stuff inside (I usually eat it several hours later). Gee... we sound like were the Gerod fan club (the guy who lost like a zillion pounds on his " subway diet " ). Hahaha... Guest guest
No? Well Subway has been using this guy as their mascot lately (at least, here in Canada). He lost a whole bunch of weight basically by following a program similar to BFL (though i don't know how much actual working out he did) but some of his 5-6 meals a day included Subway subs (6 " presumably). he lost a bunch of weight so now he's Subway's poster boy for nutrition. You can just bet there's hundreds of people eating nothing but Subway food trying to lose weight... Guest guest
I just have to stay busy, out of the kitchen, and get out of the house if necessary! Go for a walk. Also, drink TONS of water. That will help you stay full. It's hard I know! Dearing <shaedearing@...> wrote: Hey everyone... I am a really bad bored eater. I am going to try and not have any sweets on my " free " day because that just starts a downfall for the week... but I can just about justify any thing I eat, lol.
