Dear Judie,

Is that Dr. Homes protocol, to do DMSA for 7 full days (how many rest

days? any?)? At what point did you decide to go to 3 days on, 5 days off

and did you see any problems when you switched to fewer treatment days?

Have you run any tests (stool or urine) to see what's coming out? whether

it's reducing? increasing? Did you check to see if the body was basically

cleared of mercury before beginning the ALA with DMSA? It doesn't sound, by

your post, that the boys had a very difficult time when you added in the

ALA. I have to wonder how my sulfur-fragile daughter might do if I add

ANOTHER high sulfur med (the ALA) to the one she's already taking (DMSA).

Oh dear.

I look forward to your response - or that of anyone else for that

matter?! We've only just begun chelation since Saturday night and, so far

it's going well. Do I quit tomorrow evening making it 3 days, or do I go a

full 7 days? I don't need to determine if mercury is in there because her

hair analysis had a very high reading of Mercury (3.43 ppm) so should I just

do the 3dayson/5days off regimen or 7/11 do you think? I plan on keeping

her dosage low (25mg) for a while (if not a long while) because of her

sulfur sensitivity and fragile condition.

Responses will be immensely appreciated!!
