Heidi,

You're such a great support and inspiration for all of us CAST families and

more. I will pray for you all to have a safe trip to SLC. We have only had cast

as of yet so I can only imagine what 2 years from now will be like but I almost

sure of anyone cam handle this and make the best of it it is you. You are such a

positive person in your writings and obviously a great humanitarian. Keep your

head up and I am sure that your trip will go as smoothe as ever.

Safe travels!

, Mommy to Tommy Lee, 3 (68* down to 52* in first cast) and Logan who is

10 :)

Dec. and were sent away without a cast because Bex was sick with a little cough.

With the holiday fun/and family stress it just seems like we are going right

back through this pre-cast week worry yet again and I'm kind of freaking out.

> I know some of you understand that it can be an emotional roller coaster each

time. I know we're doing the right thing of course, the best possible thing for

our boy, but it is coming up on 2 years of cast trips for us and I am on a low

limb today.

Gotta love T.R.!

I used to look at the entire infantile scoli scenario as a battle. I felt

like I was up against the world everyday w/ my daughters unique and

sometimes dangerous situation. Not to mention, the daily battles that

were encountered in trying to get a surgical community to accept/adopt a

non surgical treatment for PIS. That was/is def. a battle. Now, that

Livs scoli is not progressing at a rapid pace and we are not in SLC every

2/3 months, it seems that its better for me to view the last decade as a

process, rather than a battle (for my own health mostly). Even though,

looking back at it now, a battle is exactly what it seemed. A very long

one at that. I love the quote and agree that we have no choice but to

Press On for the kids...Our own and others out there who have not yet

found ET..Nice post
