Well, here I am again with more questions. I just love this list and

appreciate all the help I have gotten so far here. I went into a

terrible flare a couple of weeks ago (once again, after being out in

very hot direct sun, (hmmm...., I have to think it's not a

coincidence.) Anyway, I was having extreme, long lasting morning pain

and stiffness, but worse, I was getting the low grade fevers and

feeling so terrible and ill. So I started back on the Prednisone,

which is a lifesaver, although I hate the stuff, and I wss actually

able to make it through a week of Vacation Bible School as a helper.

(Took it day to day, and made it each day. Yea!) Within the last

couple of days, I seem to notice a puffiness under my armpit, which

looks to me to be swollen lymph glands. Has anyone had this in

association with their RA? I'm not sure how long it's been there--I

just noticed it. Again, thanks so much for all the previous help.

I'm not personally familiar with this but I found a web site that has some information about swollen lymph glands. It does mention RA under Signs and Symptoms. I hope this helps. God bless. http://www.emedicine.com/aaem/topic434.htm

Hi ,

I have a lymph node that swells when I am fighting an infection.  It could be a simple as that.

I have a bump in my groin every once in a while.

Went to a doctor and told me it was an enlarged lymph gland and "nothing to worry about".

But you might mention it to your doc...better safe...

But, as always, check with your doctor to be sure.

Subject: Swollen Lymph Nodes?

Hi All :-)I'm hoping someone might have some information that could help me, or at least help ease my worries. I admittedly can be a little bit hypocondriac-ish and am worried about a swollen lymph node I keep getting. I'm wondering if this could just be related to my RA??? I was diagnosed with RA last spring. I have been on Plaquenil since September. I am also supposed to take Mobic but I rarely do because it bothers me. My plaquenil has worked wonders, but I am nausious (sp) daily......but so far it's a better trade off.Anyways about a month or more ago I noticed that I had a swollen lymph node in the groin. I just went to my regular doctor and he told me to take my Mobic and it should clear it up. I followed his orders and sure enough it went away. I go back off the mobic, and it came back. I'm now worried that there's an underlying problem? I can't seem to find any information that this could be related to RA except that inflammatory conditions can cause that; but nothing specific. I of coarse hope it's just a side effect that can happen but of coarse am convincing myself there's somethingelse wrong. I am thankfully scheduled to see my R. Dr. on Wed. but am just hoping someone might know about this. Thanks in advance :)

I have something I want you to try for me. I recommend you take 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Just try it for me, please. It is a natural way of dealing with the reflux. Write me and tell me how you are doing!! I live in northeast PA. Where do you live? ~TRACY <bart.tracy@...> wrote:

Hi ,You're right. I have an apt with her tomorrow, unfortunetly there's an ice storm coming and I am just hoping that I don't have to cancel as I have an 1 1/2hr drive to see her and she's SO hard to get into if you miss.I am supposed to be taking 15mg once a day, initially it was fine but it's just upsetting my stomach/reflux too much (I already have to take nexium or protonix to counter the effect).....and with all the drug scares lately I'm just afraid of it anymore. I was going to ask her to reduce me back to just the 7mg a day to see if that helped or something different all together. Before being diagnosed with RA it was recommended that I not take any motrin type drugs because of my reflux issues........so all these types for the RA just seem to whammy me, and I don't like them.

Stinks-Thanks,> > > > > > Hi All :-)> > > I'm hoping someone might have some information that could help > me, > > > or at least help ease my worries.
