Guest guest
Hi. We have chelated my son 9 times now ( 3 on- 11-14 days off) > with good results. > > One big problem. He has been having bad stomach/GI problems. We > have an appt. with Dr. Holmes in 2 months. Has anyone else seen severe GI issues > flare up> with DMSA? He has had GI issues all his life, but a the past few > years it seemed resolved. Now it's much worse than it ever was. I'm thinking > we need to see a GI doctor before we even think about seeing Dr.Holmes. > HELP!!! Any advice????? > Many thanks. Carole I am chelating myself and once had stomach pains that felt much like gastritis. I stopped for a few weeks and resumed and have not had problems since. However, I am careful to drink lots of water while I am taking the DMSA. Are you sure that your child is getting enough fluids during chelation? I have a feeling that the stomach pain that I had once may have been due to not enough fluids in my system. Nothing scientific, just my observations. kb __________________________________________________
