Guest guest
For those of you out there who have someone in the household taking Zoloft. Are they taking it in the morning or in the evening? And if in the evening, what time in the evening? My daughter has had trouble falling asleep lately. She has been recently weaned off her ADHD meds (my decision) and has had an increase in Zoloft from 50 to 75 mg. The doctor suggested that she take the Zoloft in the morning instead of in the evening (she has been taking the Zoloft at about 8:00 p.m. for the last 2 years). We tried that yesterday and my daughter told me that she was very tired in school. I am wondering if maybe I should give her the Zoloft earlier in the evening. Could that help? I have been giving her Benadryl when she cannot fall asleep. Last night she asked for " a pill " , because she was afraid that she was not going to be able to fall asleep. The guilt has kicked in, I feel awful for her feeling dependent on the Benadryl. Thanks for your thoughts. LKS
