Guest guest
Considering all things, it is prudent to consider what point you are going to start the meds. Supplements might help increase the time before you need to start the meds, but it is quite rarely seen where supplements and a wholistic lifestyle are successful in keeping a person off meds entirely. I know two people who have done this for overt wenty years. Only two. A third friend who was poz for 22 years, working very hard with a wholistic approach finally recently started on the new integress inhibitor-Isentress. He was happy to have lasted long enough to get to the current level of sophisticated drugs and happy he was never exposed to some of the older drugs. So, it is wisest to carefully consider this and work with a doctor who is prudent about when and what to start and careful about watching your test numbers. The newest drugs are reportedly very tolerable. As far as a resource to ask what supplements seem to help the most, I recommend calling Houston (non-profit) Buyer's Club, and talking to them frankly about what you want to do.
