Guest guest
Can anyone out there offer either their own experience with this or some explanation for this? We've just begun round 5 of chelation with DMSA-SR (7on/7/off). We've been doing 100 mg 3x/day with our 55 lb.son. No new physical or behavioral changes, good or bad, that we've been able to observe. But 2 days prior to starting round 5, my son (7 yrs old) began having stools that are not formed. He continues to have BM's on just about the same schedule, every couple days or so. Constipation used to be an issue a couple years ago before going CF/GF and adding CLO. I thought this might be just an intestinal flu but he seems to feel fine and it's been 5 days. Just no longer formed stools. Does anyone think this might be DMDA-induced, even though we've done 4 rounds before this uneventfully? I wonder if it might be a sign regarding what's exiting his body toxin-wise...? (Metals have been coming out in the urinalysis we did after round 2, mercury included.) Thanks for the feedback.
