Guest guest
DS's cholesterol (he's slim but not skinny for a toddler, on GF/CF/SF, no junk food ever, main carb is sweet potato, loves fresh fruit-- all organic) was high according to recent blood tests. Dh and I both have the cholesterol of Bush men in Africa who eat leaves and chase game with darts, as do most of the rest of the family until they hit their seventies or eighties, so we can't even call it genetic. The DAN said it could be a temporary elevation from stress, but I see stuff all over the web about vaccine injuries and high cholesterol. Some groups which consider autism to be genetic just assume that the high cholesterol is genetic as well. I'm not buying it. I also see news reports of " unprecedented " numbers of young kids with high cholesterol. Does junk food really explain it? Everyone ate crap when I was a kid (except us: both dh and I were subjected to fiber bars, vegetarian stew and whole wheat pasta growing up). What in vaccines could do this? Also, does the fact that mercury causes arterial plaques (Ohio State study) mean that raised cholesterol is an effect of mercury? Thanks in advance.
