Re: MMR and vitamin A deficiency

My daughter Kelsey slept 10-12 hours a night as a baby. (I could NOT

wake her up to feed her). I even mentioned it when I spoke to the

pediatrician's office. It is in her Progress Notes! Within a day of

birth, she had " the bumps " on her; started on her face and moved all

over her body. Since then (when she was 3), I found out that those

symptoms are major signs of vitamin A deficiency. She got HepB on

day one and went downhill after that. (The month following her MMR

at 12 months was the clincher; explosive diarrhea, regression,

agression, stimming, etc). I do now believe that she has a major

problem with metabolizing things, because as we are chelating, her

rash indicator (the rash that indicates too much of any one vitamin)

is becoming less and less evident, and she is making gains. In our

particular case, it seems like the more metal that we pull out, the

better she is able to metabolize things that will help her.
