I would love to be a fly on the wall during your discussions with a

" new " introductee to chelation. Many doctors say they are willing

" to look into it " but are they willing to open their minds just

enough that their brain's don't fall out.

They are faced with the overwhelming pressure of their training,

their piers, theri livelihood, their stature in the public eye, their

continuing education (provided by the pharmaceutical/industrial

machinery), their licensing boards, their halo's, etc. If they are

actually going to look into it with an open mind, they are going to

have to be almost as strong and sometimes stronger than the mothers

on this list.

I certainly hope you have found a special person and can help him

see the light - remember to post you feelings about him afterwards to

update our " Good, Bad and ugly " list. :) KenG

Sairam,

We see Dr. Raj Patel in Los Altos for chelation. He is a DAN! doctor. He is

a good guy. His number is (650)964-6700. Good luck on your search!

Best Wishes,

Sylvia

We bullied our reluctant neuro into chelation and

finally he gave us the prescription - he has yet to

call to see how things are going, it really feels like

he gave the prescription to get us out of his office.

I cant believe his professional curiosity hasnt got

the better of him and call us !

Even the dispensing pharmacist has called us 3 times

to see how our son is doing and how he got poisoned.

Which doctor are you seeing in Sacramento?

As a side note, if enough patient pressure Dr. Griffith to do chelation, I

think she will go that direction - she's definately interested in new avenues!

I also see Dr. Griffith, and while I think she is great she is not yet

on board with the chelation. She wants to see mercury at elevated levels in

hair, blood or urine prior to any chelating and uses a lab in Canada for the

hair who does not do the same type of elemental testing that DDI or Great

Smokies does. I am going to see another doctor today in the Sacramento area

who I believe is more famliar with how most of us are doing this. My son's

elements were out of range in accordance with heavy metal toxicity but she

was not willing to chelate based on this and his history of Rhogam,

vaccinations and chronic sinusitus. I am hoping that once we start

chelating and if indeed the mercury levels show in subsequent tests she will

be more willing to begin chelating her clients. So, if your child shows

elevated mercury from recent exposure - she will probably help you.

After providing much information on mercury toxicity and chelation to our

doctor - and presenting her with the hair test from Doctor's data - Kaiser

Permanente /HMO has finally agreed to treat my son with Chemet. (DMSA)

They saw the scattered essential elements - the high copper and aluminum and

others and not only prescribed DMSA, but ordered several tests to monitor

him.

We were so relieved. On friday, the pharmacist also called us wanting to

let us know they had sent for it

from Washington. They also asked how did Adam get poisoned? When I

mentioned Dr. Amy Holmes, she said, oh yes, I went on her Web site! The

word is definitely out. Aly
