All:

With the whole fallout concerning the steroid scandal involving

baseball and with Clemens replacing Barry Bonds as the new

face of the scandal; be prepared for Clemens' attorney to use

the " was taking B12 shots, not steroids " defense. Don't let

them get away with it! I have blitzed the Boston area sports radio

market with the following email and it is getting aired! Please feel

free to quote it and forward to your newspapers or sports media

outlets to prevent MB12 being scapegoated and eventually taken away

from " our children " ...

Gentlemen:

As a father to a recently deceased 7 year old, autistic son – I was

absolutely outraged to hear Clemens and his attorney proclaim

he was on " Vitamin B12 shots " instead of steroids. Vitamin B12 shots

are an accepted medical therapy for children and adults with

neurological conditions. In fact, the innovator of this therapy

resides right here in Boston: Dr. Deth, PHD at Northeastern

University.

In any event, IF….repeat…IF did indeed take Vitamin B12

shots, then he would need a prescription from a doctor for both the

Vitamin B12 and the syringes needed to administer the shots. As

such, seeing as he is willing to testify under oath before Congress,

the he should produce those prescriptions or the Toronto Blue Jays

and/or New York Yankees should produce photocopies of the

prescriptions.

I know this because my son was on Vitamin B12 therapy for 2 years

and my wife and I had to administer the shots. A trainer/strength

coach could not prescribe this therapy, only a team physician or

's personal physician could.

Best Regards,

Harry Tembenis
