Guest guest
What's also amazing is her knowledge of body meridian points (just like Dr. Oz on Oprah). I tell you, I am so amazed that a host like Oprah who has taken long been financed by pharmaceutical companies is finally getting it about energy medicine. I bet it worked on her underactive thyroid this year when she gained all of the weight again. Finally - allopaths who are willing to embarass themselves and take a financial hit to educate the masses (and on Oprah no less). I have a feeling McCarthy and had something to do with her conversion.Rox OT-Oprah-OBGYN on Talks about HPV There’s an OBGYN female Dr. from Maine on Oprah today answering those female “sensitive” questions. A young 20 something got up and asked the Dr. about the HPV vaccine and whether or not young people who are already sexually active should still have it. The Dr. was pretty adamant that she is having a HUGE problem with them recommending to all girls nine and up. Some have died, other side effects and it doesn’t CAUSE cervical cancer just relates to…She said they are finding the women who do get cervical cancer already have compromised immune systems and that’s why there body is not fighting the cancer off and the whole body should be the focus in those cases. Lots of mention of vitamin D deficiency as an epidemic and other great stuff. I would LOVE to have this as my Dr!! Great show. - Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search. Guest guest
While the skeptic in me tends to think of those selling " energy medicine " are all a bunch of new age granolas, I have to admit that there must be something to it for accupuncture to work like it does. Sure it doesn't work all the time and is not 100% effective, but then I do not think ANY branch of medicine is. On a personal note, after having two accidents back in '89, one hard on the heels of the other, I am left with a lower back that frequently feels " tight " , sometimes gives me nagging ache and makes me a little gun shy about hard physical labor. I have found that if my wife presses very hard in the arch of my feet, my back will loosen up a bit and the ache diminishes. As I said, I am not ready to move to the left coast and start selling healing crystals, but I do think that there should be a bit more research into chiropracty, accupuncture and other non-trad medical practices which work with the body's neural net. Guest guest
Acupuncture isn't a new age treatment, its just still fairly new to the USA, but been around for probably 2500 years. I have found it very helpful, for treating a variety of problems. One time doesn't always correct the problems, but can help over the course of many visits. Its important to find someone who is skilled at this and knows also how get to the underlying issues that are causing the physical symtoms. We are energy. Yes she sounded new age, but heck it gets the conversation going to open more doors. Oprah has known her for awhile. perhaps with her recent thyroid hoo ha she called her back up. I practice qi gong and tai chi both are wonderful. Homeopathy has helped me & my entire family as has accupuncture joanne > > While the skeptic in me tends to think of those > selling " energy medicine " are all a bunch of new age > granolas, I have to admit that there must be something > to it for accupuncture to work like it does.
