This was interesting Joe, thanks for

posting it. Spikenard is in the Valerian root family. Often recommended by

some naturopaths, for sleeplessness and anxiety. But most of the valerian root

sold here is not the spikenard itself but a relative. I have stopped to look valerian

root up and almost added to my son’s regimen several times but haven’t

tried it yet. Does anyone on the list use it? -
