While sitting in my doctors office reading a parenting magazine I

come across a blurb about this great new vaccine " Pediatix " that

combines 5 vaccines in one so that children end up getting 9 instead of

15 shots??, not sure what the means exactly (thats all it said)

Pediatix (combines 5 vaccines!) The U.S. Food and Drug Administration

(FDA) has approved a new combination vaccine for diphtheria, tetanus,

pertussis, polio, and Hepatitis B. This vaccine, PediatrixTM, developed

is given at ages 2, 4, and 6 months. (Is this something new?)

I was able to find is info on the trial - (what parents

> allow their kids to even participate???? in these studies) and I

can't believe they are still combining instead of separating or

spreading out vaccines.

According to this site, Pediatrix has .019 uGm/gm(ppm) of mercury,

some Tungston and 1117.0 uGm/gm of aluminum. I don't know what these

measures mean in terms of micrograms, but 1117.00 uGm of aluminum

sounds really bad. Also, it seems that Ennergix by kline has

*lead* in it.

I believe your spelling is correct, however its been misspelled in the

various sites I found the info.

I'm sure it has " traces " of mercury and tons of aluminum and I think

its stupid to combine any vaccines into 'one'

Pediatix or Pediatrix? Approval info and package insert can be found here:

thimerosal (and tungsten), because it is supposedly manufactured

without the use of thimerosal. Ana, do you have another link for this

info? I can't get the link below to work either.

Yes, the spelling IS PediaRIX. My mistake. I have a hard time believing

they'd name a vaccine with something that evoked " rickets " , but it's

actually quite appropriate if you think about it (malabsorbtion and

all). I also mistakenly put the url for the Null film instead of

this:

http://www.hapihealth.com/images/lab.jpg

The above has the mercury, lead and aluminum content of Pediarix and

others, which were tested by HAPI in, I believe, 2004. The vaccines had

more than trace, therefore the labels lie.
