Guest guest
, I would find a support group in the East TN area or your school district. Different states give different things, so it’s hard for most of us to give you good advice. Appointment for a dx? I think in NY the child HAS to be looked at within 30-45 days. I hope you haven’t been waiting too long. On 1/19/08 7:20 PM, " " <dleppard9468@...> wrote: Hello, I'm mostly a lurker and have been getting great information. My Son will be three Feb 1st and we will be having a transition meeting on Tuesday. I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I don't really know what will happen. I have been told by his current Physical therapist that I need to tell them to not bill my insurance for his therapies because he gets therapy from the school district and he can also get his therapies from the place he is currently at. I want him to get all the help he can get so that he is caught up buy the time he is 5. He gets Speech, OT, and PT right now. I have been asked a couple of times what my stategy is. I don't know, I haven't done this before. We believe he has autism but we are still waiting to get an appointment for a diagnosis. He has done very well with his therapies. I am in East TN. Guest guest
I think it was in Dec when we requested it and they told us that they are booked until Feb and they didn't have the dates of March appointments yet. This was throught early intervention which he will be out of in Feb. > > > > > > > > > > > Hello, I'm mostly a lurker and have been getting great information. > > My Son will be three Feb 1st and we will be having a transition > > meeting on Tuesday. Guest guest
Do not let them copy your insurance card. They may ask.
