I have a question regarding DMSA

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this. My son went to his first Dan appointment. The doctor recommended my son have urine test for mercury and organic acid test. My son needed to take six pills ( DMSA) and than collect his urine for 6 hours. My question is the doctor said, my son may become very irritated, and maybe have a few meltdowns etc... because the DMSA will make the mercury come out and move about the body. So I was preparing myself for the worst... But I got the total opposite ...... My son was so good, even the look in his eyes was different. He was calm, he was even able to sit at the table to eat with his father. Something he never does. I did not have to give him any Gaba, Taurine, Melatonin, he went to bed with no problems. Even in school the next day they said he had a really great day. But I can see now after a few days he seems to be going back to the way he was. Not sleeping, noise and other people brother him. I was wondering if anyone has every seen that kind of reaction with DMSA?
