Guest guest
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/17/AR2008011702838.\ html?referrer=emailarticle I wonder what the metals are that Massey put into the waterways... I know coal contains mercury, but what else is joining it in the water supply to at least a million unsuspecting individuals? Do the areas near Massey's operations have higher rates of MR, AU and other problems? At what point to we balance the economic needs of an otherwise poor area whose economy is based almost solely on " King Coal " and the energy needs of the nation with the neurological health of our children and grandchildren and the economic future which will see diminshed capacity in future generations and increased care costs for those directly afflicted by corporate indifference to safety? ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
