Guest guest
Featured in this weeks' People magazine is a story about a family in Utah with 6 autistic children. The children were temporarily taken away from their parents after the mom said to a social worker that she should just burn their house down or something like that, supposedly referring to the unsanitary mess the house had become... Anyhooo, there is quote from (guess who!!), Suzanne and of course a mention of the AS " advocacy group " . She even mentions her grandson's plight. The story ends with a blurb indicating genetic factors are present in 10-15% of ASD diagnoses. They mention the chromosome 16 finding. They say these proportions are significant. And they say that genetics is a likely cause in this family. The story is on page 90 and is written by Sharon Cotliar. There is no mention of vaccines, mercury, or Thimerosal.
